The day clock spoke russian

The day clocks spoke Russian, broken glass littered the streets accurately reflecting a shattered world and stocks were going up and down like heartbeats of a terminally ill patient. That day, I sat down to write a poem. On the other side of the poem, I saw my father jotting down another stanza. A rose was blooming on the tip of his pen.

Dreaming Indigo Time

Remember your lost home. Lying on your back
watch clouds shape faces you once knew and
leaves missing you by inches, whisper in your ear
premonitions of war in Autumn’s broken Latin.

The four hard edges of war

History had derailed,
a runaway train causing the future
to wrap itself around the past.

A one winged angel

Ink travels deep inside my body,
distorts every object in the room.
Faucets weep, one tear at a time
over the abyss of the sink.of humanity.
